UPSL NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Atletico Atlantas Jeffrey Otoo

May 7, 2021 – Los Angeles, CA – Atletico Atlanta's Jeffrey Otoo has been selected UPSL National Player of the Week.

A native of Accra, Ghana, Otoo scored three goals and added two assists in a 6-2 victory in a UPSL 2021 Spring Season Southeast Conference Georgia Division game on Sunday, May 2, 2021. Otoo played 45 minutes as Atletico Atlanta (3-2-2 overall) won its first league game in more than a month.

The first signing by Atlanta United FC (MLS) in 2016, Otoo has since played with Charleston Battery (USL), Des Moines Menace (USL) and Atlanta SC (NISA). He won the UPSL 2020 Fall Season National Championship with Ginga Atlanta and was an All-UPSL selection. 


The UPSL National Player of the Week is selected each week of the regular season by members of the league and journalists covering the UPSL, and decided by the fans via Twitter poll.
