June 15, 2020 – Los Angeles, CA – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is pleased to announce Fairbanks Soccer Club as its newest Division I member.

Based in Fairbanks, AK, Fairbanks Soccer Club will begin UPSL play in the 2020 Spring Season as part of the Last Frontier Division.

UPSL Last Frontier Division Manager Brett Banks said, "Fairbanks is a hub of high-level soccer talent in Alaska and Danny Dominick is just the guy to bring the 'Golden Heart of Alaska' into the UPSL. With a strong stable of quality players and a hunger for the highest level of soccer in Alaska, we know that Fairbanks SC is going to put forth a product that Fairbanks SC supporters will be proud of, both on and off the pitch."

Danny Dominick is Owner and President of Fairbanks SC. A civil engineer, Dominick played in the Netherlands for VUC Den Haag and Graaf Willen II VAC. He holds a USSF 'C' Coaching License.

"Fairbanks Soccer Club was formed with the express purpose of participating in the UPSL and thereby to support the development of talented players in Fairbanks by providing an opportunity for them to compete in a high-quality environment," Dominick said.

Nathaniel DiGloria is Chief Operations Officer of Fairbanks SC. Jessica Lissow is Chief Financial Officer.

David Powers has agreed to serve as Head Coach. A former professional player for Las Vegas Legends (MASL), Powers also serves as the Technical Director for Fairbanks' Eclipse Soccer Club.

Fairbanks Soccer Club is an American Soccer club currently based in Fairbanks, AK and a new member of the United Premier Soccer League. Fairbanks SC will play in the UPSL's Last Frontier Division.

Fairbanks SC can participate in the qualifying rounds for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup through their affiliation and membership with the UPSL, the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
