Rochester, NY-based Nick Mojsovski Named Western N.Y. Division Manager
Published Feb 3, 2020

Jan. 31, 2020 – Los Angeles – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) has the State of New York covered.

The UPSL is pleased to announce that effective immediately with the 2020 Spring Season, the Northeast Conference will introduce the Western New York Division to better serve its current league members and represent the communities of Buffalo, Rochester, Niagara Falls, Batavia, Jamestown, Elmira and others. Concurrently, Nick Mojsovski has been named Western N.Y. Division Manager.

United Premier Soccer League Commissioner Yan Skwara said, "This announcement solidifies the Northeast Conference, as this is the first time in the UPSL's history that we have grouped a strong selection of Western New York-based clubs for divisional league play. There's ample soccer history in the region, and we are pleased to welcome Nick Mojsovski as the Western New York Division Manager. Mr. Mojsovski's experience at the Pro Development level is a major asset to the UPSL, and we look forward to a successful relationship as we build out the Western New York Division in the Northeast Conference."

Western N.Y. Division Manager Nick Mojsovski previously owned Rochester River Dogz (NPSL), a qualifier for the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

"The time was right for this as the UPSL has expanded in to Western New York, and I share the same vision for the UPSL in 'Connecting American Soccer', and the merit-based system of promotion and relegation. I want to support the UPSL's growth, and strengthen its ties to the grass-roots efforts happening all around the Northeast, and build a complete soccer culture here in the U.S.," Mojsovski said.

New clubs are expected to join the Western N.Y. Division in the near future, with a number of others within the marketplace expressing interest.

The Northeast Conference currently has 29 UPSL Division I teams. The Western N.Y. Division is expected to begin play in April, and its Spring Season champion will qualify for the UPSL Division I Northeast Conference playoffs with an opportunity to progress to the UPSL National Finals.
